My name is Brittany Attwood, and I recently joined my chapter in the Spring of 2017. I’m a Sophomore, and my major is Psychology with a minor in Communications. When I was admitted into IU Southeast I knew that I wanted to be more involved since I really wasn’t in high school. High school wasn’t really ideal for me. When I was in high school I was bullied/harassed everywhere I went, so I didn’t have hardly any friends. When I started to come to IU Southeast one of my few friends told me she joined Greek Life, and that I should think about joining to!
I can say that I’m so glad that I did! It’s an opportunity that can help me gain leadership roles, and help me grow as an individual. I would recommend going Greek, because you meet so many great people, and honestly It’s a great feeling when you have sisters that you can turn to when you need advice, help, or just someone to talk to. I hope you find those sisters here at IU Southeast!
