Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of women supporting one another in lifelong achievement.
Alpha Phi was founded in 1872 at Syracuse University by ten pioneers of the coeducational system. The innovative leadership and organizational practices of Alpha Phi's Founders set the spirit of Alpha Phi today: a sisterhood that values the past but looks forward to the progress offered by the future. With 171 collegiate chapters and more than 200,000 members, our sisters share a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to support one another and our community. We are leaders, scholars, contributors, and lifetime members of a sisterhood that values these traits.
The Zeta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Phi was founded at IU Southeast in 1978. We take pride in the values of sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty, and inspiring each other to be the best sister, student, and person we can be. As we travel through the trials of college, we always have a strong support system to get us through the hard times and join us in the good moments. No matter what we involve ourselves in, we always remember the importance of our sisterhood, wear our letters with pride, and always have fun!
